Cabinet decided to restore the practice of land auctions. From the beginning of May 2013 the firs auction where the plots are sold will be hold. Currently 12 lands with area of about 4.2 ha have been processed, the price of which will determine the Kiev Council. The department of land resources KSCA report that the documents of another 18 sites with a total area of 34 hectares are prepared for sale, in Dornytskomu, Goloseyevsky, Solomenskiy, Sviatoshynskiy, Desnyanskiy, Dniprovskiy and Obolonskiy regions. It is planned to conduct auctions at least once a week.
It is known that the land auction was not held from 2007 to 2012 due to lack of necessary legal procedures. July 2, 2012 the amendments to the Code and the mechanism of auction sales and leasing municipal and public lands were adopted.
It should be noted that, 14 land plots with a total area of 113.63 hectares were sold at the auctions that were held during 2003-2007 for 1 billion grn.
Kiev city council expects to fill budget for 182,500,000 grn. via land auctions.
